Asseco Business Solutions

In my final year of high school, I took part in a quiz contest run by Asseco Business Solutions for uni students, testing the understanding of JavaScript, TypeScript and a few other technical skills. I did not win the contest, because I was not a uni student, but I was offered a summer internship at the company nonetheless.

Frontend Intern

I spent June 2017 working full time in the company’s office in Lublin, on the team developing frontend for the Softlab ERP product. Although I don’t remember many details at the time of writing, I recall I performed a few small bugfix/feature tasks. I learnt about the considerations needed when continuing a product with a long legacy. This was also my first interaction with teamwork based on the Agile/Scrum principles.
